Description

The RFM98W module integrates HopeRF’s patented LoRa modulation technology into a compact, surface-mount transceiver. This enables reliable spread-spectrum communication over several kilometers while maintaining high interference immunity and minimizing current draw, making it ideal for challenging RF environments.

Its bullet-proof front end (IIP3 = -12.5 dBm) and excellent blocking immunity ensure stable operation even with nearby transmitters. The module features a fully integrated frequency synthesizer, automatic Channel Activity Detection (CAD), and a packet engine handling up to 256-byte frames with CRC, simplifying firmware development for LPWAN applications.
