Description
This development board serves as a foundational platform for building connected devices, leveraging the Espressif ESP32 SoC’s dual-core 240MHz processor and integrated wireless radios. The inclusion of the CH9102X USB interface chip provides stable serial communication for firmware uploads and debugging, a significant upgrade over older CP2102 or CH340G chips.
The board’s 30-pin layout breaks out most ESP32 GPIOs, including capacitive touch inputs, hall effect sensor, and multiple analog channels. Its design prioritizes developer convenience with dedicated reset and boot buttons, enabling straightforward entry into flash mode. The 5V operating voltage aligns with common USB power sources and external regulators, making it suitable for rapid prototyping, smart home automation nodes, and wireless sensor networks.
