Description

The Adafruit ESP32-C6 Feather – STEMMA QT is a feature-rich development board built around Espressif’s ESP32-C6 RISC-V microcontroller. It combines Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth Low Energy 5, and IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee/Thread) radios on a single chip, enabling robust, multi-protocol wireless designs for smart home and industrial IoT applications. The board is engineered for extreme energy efficiency, supporting deep sleep modes that draw only microamps, making it ideal for remote, battery-operated sensor nodes.

Its design includes a STEMMA QT connector, which uses a 4-pin JST SH cable for instant connection to a vast ecosystem of sensors, displays, and actuators without soldering. The integrated MAX17048 battery monitor provides accurate state-of-charge readings for LiPo batteries. While it lacks native USB mass storage, it provides full USB-C serial communication for debugging and programming via Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, or CircuitPython, backed by 8MB of flash and 512KB of SRAM for complex firmware.
