Description
The STM32WB55CGU6 Evaluation Board is a feature-rich development platform built around STMicroelectronics’ dual-core wireless microcontroller. It combines a high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 core for application processing with a dedicated Cortex-M0+ core for real-time wireless protocol management, enabling efficient BLE 5.2, Zigbee, and Thread stack execution. The board integrates a complete RF section with an onboard chip antenna and a U.FL connector for attaching external antennas, providing flexibility for range optimization and testing.
Power is supplied via a USB Type-C port, with onboard regulators delivering a stable 3.3V operating voltage. The board supports multiple low-power sleep modes, making it suitable for prototyping battery-powered IoT endpoints. For development, it exposes standard SWD debug headers compatible with ST-Link and Segger programmers, alongside two 14-pin GPIO expansion headers that break out all essential digital and analog interfaces for sensor and actuator integration.
