Description

The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 AI Development Kit is engineered for demanding edge AI and multimedia applications. Its architecture centers on the powerful ESP32-P4 dual-core RISC-V processor, clocked at 360MHz and enhanced with AI-specific instruction extensions, which handles intensive computational workloads like 1080p video encoding. A dedicated ESP32-C6 wireless co-processor manages Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5 LE connectivity, ensuring low-latency, high-bandwidth data transfer while offloading network tasks from the main CPU.

Designed for system-level integration, the board provides native MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI interfaces for connecting high-resolution camera sensors and displays without external bridges, making it ideal for computer vision and human-machine interface (HMI) projects. The included IO Expansion Board adds practical prototyping capabilities with an onboard PDM microphone for audio input, a microSD card slot for data logging, and accessible GPIOs. Power is supplied via a 3.3V logic USB Type-C port, supporting both development and deployment phases.
