Description
The Arducam B0324 Pivariety camera module is engineered to unlock advanced imaging capabilities for single-board computers. It utilizes a 1/2.4-inch Sony IMX230 CMOS sensor with a 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface, providing a high-fidelity 21-megapixel output. The module is designed to work seamlessly with the Raspberry Pi’s hardware Image Signal Processor (ISP), enabling features like Auto Exposure (AE), Auto White Balance (AWB), and Lens Shading Correction (LSC) for superior image quality out of the box.
Its motorized focus mechanism allows for programmable control, making it suitable for applications requiring dynamic focal adjustment. The module is supported by the libcamera software stack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of applications maintained by the Raspberry Pi and enabling future V4L2 support. This makes it a versatile upgrade path from the closed-source official Pi camera ecosystem.
