The VC-02-Kit is a dedicated development platform for AI-Thinker’s VC-02 module, a cost-effective, pure offline speech recognition solution. The module’s core is the Unisound US516P6 voice chip, which features a 32-bit RISC architecture deeply integrated with a specialized DSP instruction set and FPU for efficient signal processing and floating-point operations, all optimized for standalone voice command interpretation.
This kit provides the essential hardware interface for developers, including a USB serial port for firmware updates and a basic command interface. The board’s design facilitates rapid prototyping of voice control functions, with all GPIOs configurable as interrupt inputs and wake-up sources, making it suitable for low-power listening applications. With 2MB of onboard Flash and 242KB of SRAM, it supports a lightweight RTOS and the storage of custom voice recognition models.
