Description

The X-NUCLEO-OUT08A1 serves as a powerful and flexible evaluation and development environment for 2A (typ) digital output modules on the STM32 Nucleo platform. It leverages the IPS160HF single high-side switch, delivering safe driving and comprehensive smart diagnostic capabilities crucial for industrial automation and control systems. The board ensures robust performance with its extended voltage operating range up to 60V and an application operating range of 12V to 33V at 0-2.4A.

This expansion board seamlessly interfaces with STM32 Nucleo microcontrollers using 3KV optocouplers driven by GPIO pins, supporting both Arduino™ UNO R3 (default) and ST morpho connectors. It is designed to be connected to NUCLEO-F401RE or NUCLEO-G431RB development boards and can be stacked with other X-NUCLEO-OUT08A1 or X-NUCLEO-OUT10A1 boards. This stacking capability allows for evaluating dual-channel digital output modules or single-channel safety digital output configurations, providing versatility for complex industrial applications.
