Winsen ZE07-H2 Electrochemical Hydrogen Gas Sensor Module - UART/Analog Voltage Output
The Winsen ZE07-H2 is an electrochemical hydrogen (H2) gas detection module offering both UART (TTL) and analog voltage outputs for integration with microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and industrial PLCs. It provides precise monitoring from 0 to 30,000 ppm with a resolution of 50 ppm.
Features
- Electrochemical sensing principle for high selectivity and stability for hydrogen gas.
- Dual output: 0.4-2V analog voltage and 3V TTL UART serial interface.
- Wide operating voltage range of 5V to 12V DC.
- Integrated temperature sensor for automatic signal compensation.
- Compact design with a fast response time (T90 ≤ 60 seconds).

The ZE07-H2 module employs a mature electrochemical cell to detect hydrogen gas concentrations in ambient air. This principle ensures high selectivity against common interfering gases, with alcohol being a primary exception. The onboard signal conditioning circuitry provides a linearized output, and a built-in temperature sensor corrects for environmental drift, enhancing measurement accuracy across its operating range.
Designed for low-power operation, the module is suitable for portable and fixed detection systems. Its UART interface allows for direct digital communication with host controllers, while the analog voltage output enables simple integration with data acquisition systems and analog input modules. The module requires a warm-up period of up to 3 minutes for stable readings after power-on.
