The Waveshare ESP32-S3-POE-ETH-CAM-KIT is a feature-rich Ethernet development board engineered for IoT and embedded computer vision applications. Its core is the ESP32-S3R8, a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor capable of 240MHz operation, paired with substantial memory resources including 8MB of PSRAM for handling high-resolution image buffers and 16MB of Flash for firmware storage.
Network connectivity is delivered through a triple-stack approach: stable wired 10/100Mbps Ethernet via the SPI-interfaced W5500 chip, optional IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet for streamlined deployment, plus integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 for wireless links.
