The Waveshare ESP32-S3 Mini Development Board is engineered around Espressif’s ESP32-S3-PICO-1-N8R8 system-in-package, delivering robust processing power and ample memory for demanding embedded wireless projects. Its dual-core architecture and 8MB of PSRAM facilitate multitasking, audio processing, and graphical user interfaces, while the 8MB Flash provides ample space for firmware and file systems.
Wireless connectivity is handled by the integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE radio, supported by an onboard ceramic antenna for a compact footprint. The board’s castellated edge design allows it to be directly surface-mounted onto custom carrier PCBs for final product integration, while the included pre-soldered headers accelerate breadboard prototyping. Power is supplied via the USB Type-C port, which also serves as the primary programming and serial communication interface.
