Description
The Teltonika NTP001 is a dedicated Stratum-1 Network Time Protocol server engineered for industrial and enterprise environments requiring precise, reliable time synchronization. It functions as an autonomous time source by locking onto multiple Global Navigation Satellite Systems—including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou—to generate a UTC-traceable clock signal with an accuracy of ±1 millisecond over Ethernet. This eliminates the latency and dependency associated with internet-based NTP pools, making it ideal for secure, isolated, or mission-critical networks.
Built with industrial resilience, the server features a rugged aluminum housing and supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +75°C. Its versatile connectivity suite includes a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port for primary NTPv4 time distribution, alongside RS232 and configurable RS485 serial interfaces for legacy system integration or serial time string output. The inclusion of three digital inputs and three digital outputs allows for external event triggering, equipment control, or monitoring, facilitating seamless integration into larger SCADA or IIoT systems.
Power and management are designed for operational simplicity, accepting a broad 9–30 VDC input for flexible installation. Configuration and monitoring are handled via an intuitive web interface, with support for secure protocols like HTTPS and SSH. The NTP001 ensures network integrity with robust security mechanisms, including client authentication and access control lists, making it a cornerstone for synchronized operations in telecommunications, power utilities, financial trading, and industrial automation.
