Description

The Teledyne FLIR Lepton Adapter Module is a critical interface board designed to bridge Teledyne FLIR Lepton thermal imaging sensor cores with OpenMV Cam development platforms. It translates the Lepton’s SPI communication protocol and power requirements into a compatible format for the OpenMV Cam’s I/O header, enabling developers to capture and process thermal data directly within the OpenMV IDE using MicroPython.

Constructed with a compact and durable PCB, the adapter ensures stable 2.8V power delivery and signal integrity for the connected Lepton sensor. This allows for seamless integration of long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imaging capabilities into embedded vision systems, drones, and robotic platforms without requiring complex custom circuitry.
