Description

The SX1278 LoRa Ra-02 module is a dedicated wireless transceiver designed for long-range, low-data-rate IoT communication. Built around the proven Semtech SX1278 RF IC, it implements LoRa spread spectrum modulation to achieve exceptional link budget and interference immunity, making it ideal for challenging urban and rural environments. The module operates in the 433MHz frequency band, offering a balance of range and antenna size.

Communication is handled via a half-duplex SPI interface, allowing for direct connection to microcontrollers like STM32, ESP32, or ATmega328P (Arduino). Its integrated packet engine with CRC supports reliable data frames up to 256 bytes. The module’s shielded metal housing ensures stable RF performance and protects against external noise, while the IPEX connector allows for the attachment of external antennas to optimize range for specific deployments.
