Description
The SenseCAP M2 Multi-Platform LoRaWAN Gateway is a professional-grade indoor base station designed for developers and system integrators to build private or community LoRaWAN networks. Its core is the Semtech SX1302 digital baseband chipset, which provides an 8-channel concentrator capable of receiving multiple LoRa packets simultaneously on different spreading factors. This architecture ensures high capacity and excellent sensitivity, making it ideal for dense IoT sensor deployments in urban or agricultural settings.
Network management is highly flexible, as the gateway does not lock you into a single provider. It can be configured to forward payloads to any standard LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS) via Packet Forwarder, including open-source options like ChirpStack (which is pre-integrated) or cloud platforms like AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN. For local control and monitoring, the built-in SenseCAP Local Console provides a web-based dashboard accessible via its own Wi-Fi AP or the Ethernet port, offering real-time status, packet logs, and firmware update capabilities.
Built for reliability, the gateway operates from -20°C to 55°C and is powered by a robust MT7628 MIPS processor. The inclusion of a USB Type-C console port aids in advanced debugging, while the RP-SMA female antenna connector allows for the attachment of higher-gain antennas to extend coverage. Its compact form factor and PoE support make it perfect for ceiling-mounted installations in smart buildings, warehouses, or greenhouses, providing the essential link between your LoRa end nodes and the cloud.
