Description

This flexible ribbon cable provides the essential link between your Raspberry Pi Zero V1.3 and a compatible Raspberry Pi Camera Module. It connects the camera directly to the BCM2835 processor on the Pi via the Camera Serial Interface (CSI) bus. The CSI bus is a high-bandwidth pathway specifically designed to efficiently carry pixel data from the camera sensor back to the processor, enabling high-quality image and video capture.

Engineered for the unique form factor of the Raspberry Pi Zero, this cable features a 15-way connector with a specialized pitch. One end connects to the Pi Zero’s 0.5mm pitch FPC connector, while the other connects to the standard 1.0mm pitch connector found on Raspberry Pi Camera Modules and other Raspberry Pi models like the Raspberry Pi 3. Note that the Raspberry Pi camera module is not included and must be purchased separately.
