The RAKwireless RAK19009 Mini Base Board is a foundational component of the WisBlock modular IoT system, engineered for rapid prototyping and scalable deployment of wireless sensor nodes. Its core innovation is the separation of the power supply, which is handled by an external, interchangeable Power Board, allowing developers to select the optimal power source—be it USB, Li-Ion battery, solar panel, Power over Ethernet (PoE), or industrial 5-24V DC—for their specific application without redesigning the base circuitry.
Built with industrial durability in mind, the board features high-speed board-to-board connectors that maintain signal integrity for I2C, UART, GPIO, and other digital interfaces between the Core module and attached sensors.
