The encoder provides an ABZ 3-channel open-collector output. The encoder operates on a wide DC voltage range from 5V to 24V. Connect the positive supply (Vcc) within this range to the encoder's power pin and ground to the corresponding GND pin. The open-collector outputs require pull-up resistors to your controller's logic voltage (e.g., 3.3V or 5V) for proper signal levels.
