While not strictly mandatory for all prints, an enclosed 3D printer is highly recommended for ASA. An enclosure helps maintain a stable ambient temperature around the print, which is crucial for preventing warping, improving layer adhesion, and reducing cracking, especially with larger or more complex models, leading to better print success rates.

ASA filament absorbs moisture from the air, which can degrade print quality and mechanical properties. Store Pro-Range ASA in a dry, airtight container with desiccant packs when not in use. If the filament has absorbed moisture, drying it in a filament dryer at 60-70°C for 4-6 hours before printing is advisable for best results and consistent extrusion.
