The OpenMV Cam H7 Plus is a dedicated embedded vision platform designed to bring machine vision capabilities to microcontroller-based projects. Its core is the STM32H743II Arm Cortex-M7 processor, delivering 480MHz of processing power to handle real-time image processing tasks directly on the board, eliminating the need for a separate computer. This allows for standalone operation in space-constrained or power-sensitive applications.
The board is pre-programmed with a MicroPython runtime and the OpenMV firmware, providing a comprehensive library of computer vision functions accessible through simple Python scripts.
