Based on the NEO-8M, this module serves as a reliable satellite positioning solution, supporting the NMEA standard protocol output. Its integrated FLASH memory allows for the persistent storage of configuration settings without the need for an external EEPROM, simplifying deployment and maintaining settings across power cycles.
The module incorporates an onboard ceramic antenna, facilitating rapid satellite acquisition in open environments. For applications requiring superior signal reception, an SMA head is pre-welded, enabling the connection of a high-gain external antenna. Debugging and configuration are streamlined through a micro USB interface, while a reserved serial port supports direct integration with external microcontrollers like Arduino, STM32, or 51 for seamless data reception.
