MemsFrontier MPM10-CS Laser PM Sensor - UART/I2C/PWM Output, 8-Pin
The MemsFrontier MPM10-CS is a compact laser-based particulate matter sensor designed for precise air quality monitoring of PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 concentrations. Featuring UART, I2C, and PWM output interfaces via an 8-pin connector, it is compatible with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi for environmental sensing applications.
Features
- Laser scattering principle for PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 detection (0.3–10 μm).
- Triple-output interface: UART serial, I2C, and configurable PWM.
- High accuracy: ±15 μg/m³ or ±15% reading under standard conditions.
- Fast power-on and response time of less than 10 seconds.
- Compact, low-profile design (37.8 x 34.8 x 11.8 mm) for embedded systems.

The MPM10-CS utilizes a laser scattering method to detect and quantify particulate matter concentrations in the air, providing reliable data for PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 within a range of 0–1000 μg/m³. Its opposite-side air inlet and outlet design promotes consistent airflow and sampling accuracy, minimizing dead zones and ensuring representative measurements.
Engineered for stability, the sensor operates from a single 5V DC supply with a working current below 85 mA and features a robust operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. The integrated signal processing provides digital outputs via UART, I2C, or PWM, allowing flexible integration into air quality monitors, HVAC systems, and portable environmental data loggers.
