With a broad input voltage range of 9V to 55V, it directly supports up to 12S LiPo batteries, making it suitable for industrial drones, long-range FPV setups, and heavy-lift applications. Utilizing a synchronous switching step-down (buck) regulator, the 12S Pro BEC achieves high power conversion efficiency, typically ranging from 88% to 96%. This efficiency minimizes heat generation, allowing the unit to deliver a continuous output current of up to 5A, with peak capabilities reaching 9A for sudden power demands. Pilots can select between three regulated output voltages—5.2V, 8V, or 12V—to precisely match the requirements of flight controllers, FPV cameras, video transmitters, and other auxiliary components. Integrated thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection with self-recovery, and short-circuit tolerance (for 2 seconds) further enhance its operational resilience and safeguard connected devices during unexpected events.
