The HS-S26P module integrates a DHT11 sensor, which combines a capacitive humidity sensing element and an NTC thermistor. This pairing enables the measurement of both relative humidity and ambient temperature. The sensor’s internal 8-bit microcontroller handles signal conditioning and provides a calibrated digital output via a single-wire serial interface, simplifying data acquisition.
Designed for reliability in standard indoor environments, the module offers a practical balance of performance and cost for hobbyist projects, educational setups, and basic home automation systems. Its straightforward digital protocol eliminates the need for analog-to-digital conversion on the host microcontroller.
