Description
The RFM119W-868S1 from HopeRF is a high-performance, cost-effective RF transmitter module designed for robust sub-1GHz wireless communication. Based on a single-chip architecture, it supports (G)FSK and OOK modulation schemes, making it suitable for a wide array of low-data-rate IoT and telemetry applications. Its flexible frequency range allows deployment in regional ISM bands including 433MHz, 868MHz, and 915MHz.
Engineered for extreme power efficiency, the module draws only 27.6 mA during transmission at +10 dBm output power and drops to a mere 20 nA in sleep mode, a critical feature for remote, battery-operated sensors. Configuration is managed either via a straightforward two-wire interface (TWI) for register access or through the integrated RFPDK for rapid prototyping, offering developers full control over deviation, data rate, and power output.
