The HLK-LD2410D utilizes Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar technology within the 24-24.25 GHz ISM band to detect subtle movements and stationary human presence. Its advanced signal processing algorithms differentiate between motion, micro-motion (like breathing), and static targets, providing a significant advantage over traditional PIR sensors. The module outputs real-time detection data and distance information through its serial interface.
Engineered for robust integration, the sensor features configurable sensitivity, detection range, and hold time via UART commands. Its compact, surface-mount design and low 50mA average current consumption make it suitable for battery-powered and embedded smart systems requiring continuous, reliable presence sensing.
