Generic Voice Recognition Module V3 - UART/GPIO Interface, Microphone Included
The Voice Recognition Module V3 is a speaker-dependent recognition board compatible with Arduino and other 5V TTL microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, STM32). It supports training and real-time recognition of up to 80 custom voice commands via UART or GPIO control.
Features
- Supports up to 80 user-trained voice commands with 99% accuracy under ideal conditions.
- Allows up to 7 commands to be active and recognized simultaneously.
- Features dual control interfaces: full-function UART serial port and partial-function General Input Pins.
- Includes a 3.5mm microphone connector and a bundled microphone for audio input.
- Operates on a 4.5V to 5.5V DC supply with a low current draw of <40 mA.

The Voice Recognition Module V3 is a speaker-dependent audio processing module designed for embedded command and control applications. Unlike its predecessor, the V3 stores all trained commands in a single library, allowing any combination of up to seven commands to be loaded into the active recognizer at once, providing greater flexibility than the grouped system of the V2.
It processes audio input via an integrated microphone interface and outputs recognition results through a 5V TTL UART serial protocol or via configurable General Output Pins, which can trigger waveforms or signals upon successful command detection. The module requires an initial training session for each voice command, supporting utterances up to 1500ms in length, typically corresponding to one or two spoken words.
