The KSD302 is a bimetallic disc thermostat housed in a durable ceramic package. When the ambient temperature reaches its calibrated setpoint of 120°C, the internal bimetallic disc snaps, mechanically opening the normally closed contacts to break the electrical circuit. This provides fail-safe overheat protection.
Its ceramic construction ensures excellent dielectric strength and resistance to tracking, making it suitable for direct line-voltage applications. The switch is designed for integration into heating elements, motors, transformers, and other equipment where precise thermal cutoff is required.
