Description

The Arducam PTZ Camera is a professional-grade, remotely controllable vision module designed for embedded AI and monitoring projects. It combines a 12.3-megapixel Sony IMX477 back-illuminated sensor with a precision motorized lens assembly, offering optical zoom and mechanical pan/tilt capabilities. This allows a single unit to surveil wide areas typically requiring multiple fixed cameras.

Its integrated IR-cut filter automatically switches based on lighting conditions, maintaining color fidelity during the day and maximizing infrared sensitivity at night. The module communicates via a standard MIPI CSI-2 interface, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with popular single-board computers. The included control board manages the servo motors for lens movement, making it an ideal, cost-effective solution for developers building advanced security systems, wildlife monitoring, or robotic vision applications.
