How do I scan for and lock onto a video transmitter's signal?

To automatically find the strongest signal, long-press either the CH+ or CH- button. The receiver will scan through all 151 channels in the 5.645-5.945GHz range and stop on the channel with the clearest video feed. For manual selection, short-press the CH+ or CH- buttons to step through channels individually.

What is the purpose of the two antennas, and can I use different ones?

The two SMA antenna ports are dedicated: one is for receiving the 5.8GHz FPV video signal, and the other is for broadcasting the 2.4GHz WiFi stream to your phone. Using the included antennas is recommended. You can potentially use aftermarket 5.8GHz antennas (like a cloverleaf or patch) on the video port to improve reception, but the 2.4GHz antenna should remain as provided for optimal WiFi link stability.
