Generic KSD301 Ceramic Temperature Controlled Switch Thermostat - Normally Closed NC, 100°C, 250V 16A
The KSD301 is a ceramic-bodied, normally closed (NC) thermal switch designed for automatic temperature control in electrical circuits up to 250V AC/DC and 16A. It provides reliable, snap-action switching at a fixed 100°C setpoint, suitable for integration into appliances, power supplies, and industrial equipment.
Features
- Fixed 100°C (±5°C) snap-action thermal switch with normally closed (NC) contacts.
- Robust ceramic housing for electrical insulation and thermal stability.
- High current rating of 16A at 250V AC/DC for direct load control.
- Compact and durable design for easy panel or surface mounting.
- Reliable bimetallic disc mechanism for precise temperature actuation.
Out of stock
The KSD301 thermal switch utilizes a bimetallic disc mechanism housed within a ceramic insulator. When the ambient temperature reaches the calibrated setpoint of 100°C, the disc snaps to open the normally closed (NC) contacts, interrupting the circuit. This provides a failsafe, non-resettable cut-off for overtemperature protection.
Its ceramic construction offers excellent dielectric strength and resistance to arcing, making it suitable for direct integration into mains-powered devices. The switch is designed for long-term reliability across its specified temperature and electrical ratings, requiring no external power or signal conditioning.
