The Hall Current 15 Click board utilizes the TMCS1101-Q1, a precision Hall-effect sensor that measures current through magnetic field sensing, providing inherent galvanic isolation between the current path and measurement circuit. This isolation, rated at 3kVRMS, enhances safety and protects sensitive microcontroller inputs when monitoring currents in mains-powered or motor drive applications.
The board outputs data via an analog voltage signal proportional to the measured current and a digital I²C interface for direct microcontroller communication. On-board jumpers allow selection of the logic voltage (3.3V or 5V) and the output signal type. Its compact mikroBUS footprint makes it an ideal add-on module for rapid prototyping and industrial condition monitoring systems.
