The BMP581 sensor module utilizes a next-generation Bosch MEMS piezoresistive sensing element to deliver exceptionally stable and accurate barometric pressure and temperature readings. Its signal conditioning and digital front-end provide ultra-low noise output, making it suitable for detecting minute pressure changes equivalent to altitude shifts of just a few centimeters.
The breakout board integrates all necessary support circuitry, including a 3.3V voltage regulator and bidirectional logic level shifters, ensuring seamless and safe operation with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers and single-board computers. The standardized STEMMA QT connectors (compatible with Qwiic) facilitate rapid prototyping and system integration without soldering.
