This mmWave radar module utilizes a 24GHz Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) signal and advanced Doppler processing to detect human presence, micromotion, and specific fall events within a defined area. Its millimetre-wave technology allows it to sense through certain non-metallic obstructions, making installation flexible and maintaining functionality where optical sensors would fail.
The onboard standard algorithm distinguishes between occupied and unoccupied states, identifies human activities, and triggers a dedicated output for fall detection. With low output power (10 dBm), it is safe for prolonged human exposure. The module is designed for high robustness across varying environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, and light interference.
