The HS-S59P sensor utilizes an infrared LED paired with an NPN phototransistor within a precise 5.9mm slot. When an opaque object interrupts the infrared beam, the phototransistor triggers, producing a clean TTL low-level output signal. The integrated Schmitt trigger ensures signal stability by eliminating bounce and noise, providing reliable digital pulses for counting and timing applications.
This module is engineered for durability and consistent performance in automation environments. Its compact design and standard PH2.0 interface facilitate straightforward integration into speed measurement systems, encoder assemblies, and robotic sensing applications.
