The LJ6A3-1-Z/BX operates on the inductive sensing principle, generating an electromagnetic field from its coil. When a metallic object enters this field within the 1mm sensing range, eddy currents are induced, causing a change in oscillation amplitude that triggers the internal solid-state NPN switch. This non-contact method ensures high reliability and eliminates mechanical wear.
Housed in a durable brass-nickel plated body with an ABS sensing face, the sensor is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The integrated electronics provide a clean switching signal with a 300mA output current capacity, suitable for driving relays, PLC inputs, or indicator lamps directly.
