The ZE16B-CO module employs a mature electrochemical sensing principle for highly selective and stable detection of carbon monoxide (CO) gas. Its sophisticated onboard signal conditioning circuit provides a clean, linear output, minimizing the need for external amplification. The built-in temperature sensor actively compensates for environmental variations, ensuring measurement accuracy across its -10°C to 55°C operating range.
Designed for easy system integration, the module outputs data via a TTL-level UART interface for direct connection to microcontrollers or a PWM signal proportional to gas concentration. With a quick 30-second preheat time, it achieves operational readiness rapidly, making it suitable for responsive monitoring applications in both consumer and light industrial environments.
