The OF05ZAT flow sensor utilizes a magnetic oval gear rotor mechanism. As liquid flows through the sensor body, it causes the rotor to spin. A magnet embedded in the rotor interacts with an integrated Hall-effect sensor, generating a corresponding pulse signal. The frequency of this pulse is directly proportional to the flow rate, enabling accurate digital measurement.
Constructed with a RoHS-compliant plastic housing, this sensor is suitable for non-corrosive liquids. It is engineered for reliable operation in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for various industrial, agricultural, and DIY fluid monitoring applications where precise flow data is required.
