The FST100-2201 is a professional-grade, integrated environmental sensor housed within a purpose-built solar radiation shield. Its louvered structure protects the internal sensing elements from direct solar radiation and precipitation, ensuring highly accurate and stable readings of ambient temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and light intensity. Each parameter is measured by a dedicated, high-performance sensing element and processed by an onboard microprocessor.
The processed data is formatted into the industry-standard MODBUS-RTU protocol and transmitted via a robust RS485 interface. This allows for reliable, long-distance communication to data acquisition systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or building automation controllers. The sensor’s IP68-rated enclosure, constructed from PC plastic and stainless steel, provides exceptional durability and protection against dust and prolonged water immersion, making it ideal for permanent outdoor installations.
