The FST100-2006C soil conductivity sensor employs a durable graphite electrode to directly measure the electrical conductivity of soluble salt ions within the soil solution. This sensing principle provides a direct correlation to soil salinity and nutrient levels. The integrated signal transmitter converts the measurement into a digital RS485 Modbus signal, ensuring noise immunity and compatibility with modern data acquisition systems.
Built for continuous field deployment, the sensor operates reliably across an extreme temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. Its robust construction and direct burial design make it a critical component for precision agriculture, enabling data-driven decisions for irrigation and fertilization management to optimize crop health and water usage.
