ACEBOTT Soil Moisture Humidity Sensor Easy-Plug Compatible with ESP32/Arduino
The ACEBOTT Soil Moisture Sensor is an analog-output module designed for easy integration with Arduino, ESP32, and other 3.3V/5V microcontrollers. It measures soil humidity by detecting the electrical resistance between its two conductive probes, providing a 0-2.3V output signal proportional to moisture content for real-time plant monitoring.
Features
- Analog Output Signal (0V to 2.3V) for direct ADC reading with microcontrollers.
- Wide Operating Voltage Range from 3.3V to 5V DC for compatibility with Arduino and ESP32 boards.
- Easy-Plug Interface simplifies wiring and connection for rapid prototyping.
- Resistive Sensing Principle measures soil conductivity changes to determine moisture levels.
- Compact design for direct insertion into soil for smart agriculture and plant research applications.

The ACEBOTT Soil Moisture Humidity Sensor operates on a resistive sensing principle. Two exposed conductive probes are inserted into the soil, forming a variable resistor. The sensor applies a voltage across these probes and measures the resulting current, which varies with the soil’s moisture-dependent conductivity. This resistance value is converted into a proportional analog voltage output between 0V and 2.3V.
This analog signal can be read directly by the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) pins on common development platforms like Arduino Uno, Mega, Nano, and ESP32. The Easy-Plug compatible interface eliminates complex wiring, making it suitable for educational projects, automated irrigation systems, and environmental monitoring stations where reliable soil moisture data is required.
