The FlySky Elysium EL18 transmitter integrates professional-grade hardware with the flexibility of the EdgeTX open-source platform. Its core RF system utilizes the AFHDS 3 protocol, providing automatic frequency hopping for stable control links and enabling real-time telemetry feedback from compatible receivers. The dual-antenna design, combining a built-in and a rotatable external element, enhances signal diversity and operational range.
Constructed with a durable metal chassis finished in a textured red coating, the EL18 is designed for long-term use in demanding FPV and RC environments. The ergonomic layout places four switches and two rotary potentiometers on the front panel, with four additional switches positioned on the back for easy access during flight. Power is managed via dual 18650 Li-Ion battery slots wired in parallel, allowing for hot-swapping without system shutdown, and is supplemented by a USB-C port for charging and firmware updates.
