This NEO 7M module utilizes an active circuitry ceramic patch antenna, significantly enhancing GPS signal reception and accuracy compared to older generation modules. It incorporates a rechargeable backup battery, facilitating quick hot starts, and an I²C EEPROM for storing configuration settings, ensuring persistence across power cycles.
