Description

The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-C6 is engineered for next-generation, energy-efficient IoT edge nodes. Its core is the Espressif ESP32-C6, which integrates a high-performance 160MHz RISC-V processor with a 2.4GHz radio capable of concurrent Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth Low Energy 5, IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee/Thread), and Bluetooth mesh operation. This multi-protocol support allows seamless integration into heterogeneous smart home ecosystems and industrial wireless networks.

Power management is a central design focus, featuring an ultra-low 16µA deep sleep mode and an integrated solar charge controller that optimizes energy harvesting from PV panels for lithium battery charging. This makes the board ideal for permanent, maintenance-light installations where AC power is unavailable. The board’s robust 3.3V logic and comprehensive GPIO and interface breakout facilitate direct connection to a wide array of sensors and peripherals.
