Description

The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 AI Vision Board is a compact, system-on-module platform engineered for next-generation edge AI and multimedia applications. Its core is the ESP32-P4, a dual-core 360MHz RISC-V processor enhanced with vector extensions for accelerating neural network inference, paired with a dedicated ESP32-C6 radio for concurrent Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 Low Energy operation, enabling robust, high-bandwidth wireless data pipelines.

Architected for vision-centric projects, the board provides native MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI interfaces, eliminating the need for bridge chips and allowing direct interfacing with Raspberry Pi-compatible camera sensors and displays. This, combined with hardware JPEG/H.264 encoding support, facilitates real-time video capture, processing, and streaming. Power management includes a low-power co-processor core for background tasks, and the 3.3V/5V operating scheme supports USB-C OTG for both data and power delivery.
