Description

The Waveshare ESP32-S3 RGB Matrix Driver Board is a feature-rich AIoT development platform engineered for driving HUB75 interface RGB LED Matrix panels. At its core is the Espressif ESP32-S3-N32R16, a dual-core Xtensa LX7 microcontroller capable of 240MHz operation, paired with substantial 32MB of flash memory and 16MB of PSRAM to handle complex graphical user interfaces, audio processing algorithms, and wireless communication stacks simultaneously.

Designed for scalable smart display and interactive audio-visual projects, the board integrates a complete audio subsystem including dual MEMS microphones, an ES7210 echo cancellation chip, and an ES8311 audio codec for high-fidelity sound capture and playback. Its native HUB75 connector supports direct driving of common RGB Matrix resolutions like 64×64, 64×32, and 80×40, with a maximum cascading capability of six 64×64 panels. Additional onboard sensors like the QMI8658 6-axis IMU and SHTC3 temperature sensor, combined with a TF card slot and PCF85063 real-time clock, enable sophisticated environmental monitoring and data logging applications.
