Description
The LilyGO T-Camera Plus merges Espressif’s ESP32 wireless microcontroller with a dedicated OV640 CMOS image sensor and a wide-angle fisheye lens into a single, compact development board. This integration provides a robust platform for IoT vision projects, leveraging the ESP32’s dual-core 240MHz processing power, 520KB SRAM, and integrated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 4.2 stack for on-device processing and wireless data transmission.
Power management is handled via a wide 2.3V to 3.6V operating voltage range, with a typical current draw of 160mA during active camera and wireless operation, supporting deployment in portable systems. The module includes a 1.3-inch IPS display driven by an ST7789 controller for immediate visual feedback, and a CP2104 USB-to-serial bridge ensures seamless firmware flashing and debugging. Its structural design emphasizes stable signal integrity and thermal management for reliable operation in environments from -40°C to 85°C.
