The Waveshare IMX219-77IR camera module integrates a high-sensitivity Sony IMX219 CMOS sensor optimized for infrared and visible light imaging. Its 1/4-inch optical format and 77-degree field of view provide a balanced perspective for computer vision tasks on NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi Compute Module platforms. The module operates at a 3.3V supply and includes a dedicated infrared LED board, allowing it to capture clear monochrome footage in complete darkness, making it ideal for 24/7 surveillance and monitoring systems.

Designed for seamless integration, the camera connects via a 15-pin flat flexible cable (FFC) with contacts on opposite sides, ensuring reliable signal transmission to compatible carrier boards.
