Description
The Skylab WG222 WiFi Bluetooth Module integrates a powerful ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller with dual-band wireless radios in a compact, surface-mount package. It provides a complete wireless subsystem for developers building connected products requiring both local Wi-Fi networking and Bluetooth Low Energy for device configuration or peripheral connectivity. The module supports all standard 802.11 a/b/g/n operations in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, with transmit power up to +21dBm for extended range.
Engineered for low-power operation, the WG222 is ideal for battery-powered IoT endpoints, wearables, and smart home sensors. Its integrated Bluetooth 4.2 stack enables beaconing, data transfer, and peripheral emulation alongside Wi-Fi connectivity. The module’s extensive GPIO and peripheral interfaces, including high-resolution ADCs and I2S for audio, allow it to serve as the central processing and communication hub in complex embedded systems, simplifying hardware design and reducing time-to-market.
