Description

The AI-Thinker Ai-WB2-12F Development Kit provides a hardware platform centered on the Ai-WB2-12F RF module, which integrates the BL602 chip as its core processor. This SoC combines a 32-bit RISC-V CPU, 276KB SRAM, and a fully integrated RF front-end (MAC/BB/PA/LNA) for 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE 5.0 operation. The board exposes the module’s DIP-30 pinout, granting direct access to its full suite of digital and analog interfaces for sensor connectivity and control.

Engineered for low-power IoT edge nodes, the module supports multiple sleep modes, including a deep sleep state drawing only 12μA, enabling long-term deployment on coin-cell or small Li-ion batteries. Its hardware-accelerated cryptographic engine (AES-256, SHA-256, TRNG, PKA) ensures secure boot and over-the-air firmware updates, meeting the security demands of commercial smart home and industrial telemetry applications.
